>> at 11 -- we start with a developing story. police in pittsburg are on the hunt for a hit and run suspect. who injured a woman and her three young children. this evening. the incident happened on crestview drive, near leland road. two of the children were on their bikes. the third. in a stroller. all four victims were taken to hospitals. one of the children was airlifted to oakland children's hospital. no word on a suspect. on to another developing story. police are searching for two suspects who they say. brutually attacked an elderly woman during a home invasion in san jose. her brother in- law speaks out for the first time about her condition. as san jose police release a sketch of one suspect who attacked the 75- year old woman.

and only on kron 4. the victim's family member spoke exclusively to kron 4's reggie kumar. the elderly woman was punched repeatedly in the face and kicked in the ribs. she suffered a factured nose, two black eyes,and other injuries. to protect her identity we chose not to show her home. brian dehn is the woman's son in-law, he says he still can't believe one of the robbery suspects beat up a 75 year old grandmother. in san jose reggie kumar kron 4 news. >> new at 11. in san francisco -- police are now looking for a

gunman, who they say, shot two women and pistol- whipped another, during an attempted robbery. it happened near san francisco state university early sunday morning. near garfield and byxbee streets. police say, a suspect pointed a gun at one of the victims, and demanded her purse. leading to a struggle. that's when the suspect struck the victim with a firearm. and then shot her in the neck. authorities say, the suspect then shot a second victim in the leg before running away empty- handed. all three victims were transported to san francisco general hospital. and treated for their injuries. in other big stories. tonight -- the san francisco 49ers are back in the bay area. after last night's heartbreaking loss to the baltimore ravens. they landed at san jose

international airport. greeted by dozens of fans who still have love for their team. and as both the niners and ravens head home from new orleans. so do thousands of fans. kron-4's j-r stone has been in new orleans since the beginning of super bowl week. he wraps up our coverage from the big easy. >> of these fans are headed home the baltimore ravens are the champions. leaving just a memory of what blahs.

>> i went to the game and a set of that section and i was the only fans. >> we were right in the ravens crowd. >> it has been no secret that the niners fans were greatly outnumbered by those cheering for the ravens. most fans were quick to bring up what they said was a past interference on michael crabtree. in the closing minutes. >> it was a difficult loss. as much as you do not want to make that call at the end >> it was a tough loss. a specially with that call. >> nevertheless the it meant that been at the game was as a heck of an experience. >> all of the ravens fans

were quiet. and they started to cheering for us. with the 49ers. first down. i lost my voice >> they describe their trip as bittersweet poured j.r. stone, kron 4 news. >> pam: for more than four decades. the 49ers have played at candlestick point in san francisco. but next season will be the teams last at the stick. kron 4's charles clifford has more... on the city's plans to demolish the stadium after the team moves south to its new home in santa clara. candlestick parks sits about 5 and a half miles south of downtown san francisco. the stadium was built in the late fifties as a home for the san francisco giants, the 49ers started using it in 1971. the giants moved out in 2000 and the next nfl season will be candlesticks last.

for more than fifty years candlestick park has been home to sports, concerts, and more than a few memorable moments, among the highlights was the 1989 loma prieta earthquake, which shook the stadium on live television during the world series. there was also this pass from joe montana to dwight clark, which was immortalized as the catch that sent the 49ers to superbowl 16. candlestick park is currently run by the san francisco recreation and parks department, but after the 49ers play there last game here next season, developer lennar urban will

take over. lennar is the same company that is redeveloping the nearby hunters point shipyard. under an agreement with the city, lennar is required to demolish the stadium. something they have said will happen sooner rather than later, possibly within a few weeks of the transfer. after that, the plan is to replace the stadium with retail space and possibly a new, smaller arena. the san francisco recreation and park department has also said that there may be a ceremony to celebrate the history of the stadium as well as a public auction of memorabilia from the park. in the newsroom, charles clifford kron 4 news. >> jacqueline: oyour full forecast, coming up. >> pam: police step in to rescue a child -- held hostage for nearly a week. plus -- the 37th anniversary -- of a rare bay area snow day. >> gary: coming up later was it the harbaugh brothers. who was the most for former

>> pam: developing tonight at 11 -- kron-4 has learned the name of the teen girl who was found naked and dead in a park in fairfield last week. kron-4's dan kerman reports on the investigation. as police continue to try to figure out who killed her. and why. this is genelle conway. family members tell us she is the 13-year old girl who's body was discovered friday morning at alan witt park in fairfield conway's step grandmother

secretary of state today. he noted the death of four americans in benghazi last september, which included bay area native - ambassador chris stevens -- kerry says -- the safety of american diplomats will be a top priority. the former massacusetts senator is the first male secretary of state in eight years -- he also showed a lighter side today during his welcome at the state department. saying -- he has-quote big heels to fill. >> a film crew was in ridgefield, connecticut monday scouting out locations for a newtown- shooting-inspired movie. the made-for-television movie will focus on mental ilness. and the massacre's underlying cause. a gunman fatally shot 20 first-graders, six educators and himself in newtown's sandy hook elementary school in december. ridgefield schools superintendent says the timing of the film's crew visit is "poor."

>> right now in baltimore -- officials investigating what caused this four-alarm blaze. more than 100 firefighters battled the fire. at a lumber company. an explosion and heavy smoke were reported. officials say at least five fire fighters were hurt. no word on the extent of their injuries. the cause of the fire is under investigation twitter is reporting record >> would increase a sea breezes with more fog and drizzle near the coast. some of this high cloud coverage will swing over. but no fog expected. it looks like more like a summer than a winter pattern with that fog through the bay area. santa rosa, with areas of dense fog and patchy for the bay shore and the coast. lyn greene but for the early

morning hours we could still see some of the high cloud coverage for the afternoon. temperatures in the 30's and '40's. 36 in napa, pleasanton for the afternoon 50s for the most part in palo alto. and it will be a bit breezy so likely it is going to feel a bit cooler than what we saw today. for the east bay shore and temperatures along the shore are already in the 50s. it feels like the 40's. 56 in napa of a look at your extended forecast with a couple of days but changes coming on thursday. showers for most of the weekend. temperatures are going to die. but they will rebound, nicely.
